...happy little vegemite toasted solidarity soldiers, exceedingly hardboiled feral and factional eggs, plus my own special political blend of Australian potboiler breakfast tea.
Everything was prepared to perfection and served in and on the world's finest true blue non-Chinese china. Our guests at the preferences breakfast meeting were the most senior members of the Oscar Party, some of whom appeared not to have faces.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss, in a delightfully polite and constructive manner, how to defeat the enemy, kill a rabbit or wabbit or two, and ensure the Abbott of the LobbyRule Party and the Rabbit of Caerbannog care enough to listens to our concerns.

Although I was unsure how the persons without faces were going to eat their vegemite on toast, sip tea, and converse in an open and honest way, it was fortunate that some of them had brought along a few notes, scripts and old speeches for Mr Mozart and myself to peruse. Mr Mozart is especially fond of notes, as you may already know.
Mr Mozart and I hope, of course, that you are in some agreement with at least one or two of the Mozarty Party's policies. We are always open to your suggestions on how we might improve our offerings to any electorate, anywhere in the world, whether musically, politically or climatologically.
It does not matter to us one way or the other if you consider yourself to be a Whig, a Tory, a firebrand feral politician, a fumbling federal politician, or the representative of a handful of semi-literate labourers. It is just rather sad that you are so far behind the times.
On the other hand, if you consider yourself to be a nice, friendly and pleasant Australian person with an interest in what will happen to you and all sorts of other people in the next ten minutes and the next ten years, are you a supporter of the Mozarty Party?
We understand timelessness, elegance and excellence far better than anyone obsessed with tricks and traditions.
We are especially respectful of persons wearing wigs, whether for ontological or oncological purposes.
We respect the views and needs of persons who have experienced a permanent injury to their backbones or their brains.
We respect the views, needs and lives of persons who love and care for others, regardless of the gender, age or geographical origins of either party or Party.
We respect all mature, sensible, considerate, enlightened and thoughtful candidates who put themselves forward for possible election, whether in politics, community organisations or registered companies.
We respect the birds and the bees, the trees, the top soil, the rivers and the seas.
We respect anyone who prefers to drink tea out of proper porcelain.
Should this Oscar be treated as
a face or a disgrace?
As far as I am aware, there are more than 13 million persons eligible to vote in Australia. This morning, the prime minister in Canberra retained power over the constitutionally applicable policies of our nation-state, doing so with just over 70 votes.
Here are some questions...
...for the next Mozarty Party Refer-a-Friend Referendum:
1. Does the prime minister of the Commonwealth of Australia have too much power, and if so, what should be the legitimate basis of prime ministerial power?
2. Do you believe persons in power regarding the Oscars make more democratically appropriate decisions than those elected to serve the Commonwealth of Australia?
3. Should political power be with faceless persons, power brokers and lobbyists who are not properly accountable to the citizenry?
4. Should power be with the frontbenchers and backbenchers, even though they usually just follow the dominant party line?
5. Should power be with those who possess true legislative artistry and executive imagination, whether through the media or through government departments?
6. Should power be with those who are the backbone of Australia in 2012, and if so, is the backbone any different now than it was in 1942?
7. Do you support any of the policies of the Oscar Party or the Mozarty Party?
8. Are you currently registered to vote in an Australian election?
9. If you believe it is important to defeat the LobbyRule Party and restore Australia to a lovely, liberally responsible vision of appreciative freedom, thrift and frugality, fine food, organic gardens, good tea, healthy hospitals and delightful democracy, will you support the Mozarty Party at the next general election?
