Deep and Crisp and Even

Oh, it is wonderful!  My pavlova is baked to perfection. It is cooling in the oven now and I am very happy with it, as you can imagine.  Unfortunately, Mr Mozart will not be here to...

...have a piece on Christmas Day.  He is on his way to Prague, of course, where his services may be required in the coming days.  Nevertheless, I am sure my deep and crisp and even pavlova will be enjoyed by my other guests. Anna Pavlova herself came over to help me whisk the egg whites.

Here is a scene from one of my previous Christmas parties.  Anna Pavlova and I shall be providing some charity to poor swans this year.  Anna is especially fond of swans, whether black or white, and has even had some experience at trying to be one.  She and I have some very serious concerns about possible algal blooms in the Torrens Lake in Adelaide over the coming months, as do many of the ducks and swans of our acquaintance.

Several of my friends were in Europe last December and tell me that it was rather cold there, especially for poor people who cannot afford heating, or even housing.  Fortunately for Mr Mozart, the forecast is for milder weather over the next few days, even in Wenceslas Square in Prague.  Are you aware of Mr Mozart's Bohemian connections?

Having a restful time is easier in Adelaide when all members of the public take proper care on the roads, waterways and hotel balconies, especially in the heat we are currently experiencing.  I do hope you will think deeply, have some deliciously crisp salads and desserts, and even join the Adelaide Adagia team for a quiet little celebration.

On the other hand, you may prefer something like this.
