What is Mozarty Thinking?

It is very important to know the difference between Mozarty thinking and the thinking of Mr Mozart.  Mozarty thinking is the sort of thinking universities are supposed to teach but...

...often fail to do so.  The thinking of Mr Mozart depends upon the year in question, most usually a year in a previous century.

Mozarty thinking was once called critical thinking, and may still be called that by unenlightened personages.  However, the word critical means too many different things to too many different people, causing too many different problems, arguments and confusions.

Exploring meanings

It can be amusing to look up the term critical thinking on Wikipedia and find that the entry in question has received criticism for having something called multiple issues.  Mozarty thinking is about being able to identify, examine, and assess multiple issues with clarity and competence.  It is also about being able to make the distinction between facts, opinions, values, emotions, probabilities, predictions and mistaken beliefs.

The secondary purpose of Mozarty thinking is to solve problems.  Its primary purpose is to prevent problems from occurring in the first place.  It requires precision, and an awareness of human limitations.  This includes an awareness that not everyone is equally capable of Mozarty thinking.

Exploring abilities

Just as we have differing musical talents, whether as composers, performers or audience members, some people have more of a Mozarty endowment than others.  It is not something to be arrogant about, of course.  Mr Mozart would never approve of arrogance.  This is why a Mozarty way of thinking would never raise anyone to the status of being any sort of cult figure, not even Mr Mozart himself.

If you are currently awaiting notification of whether or not you have been accepted into a university course for the year ahead, please do not fret if you are unsuccessful.  The International Training Centre for the Harmonious Interplay of Beauty, Understanding and Magnificence provides courses for all sorts of people, even those who have never been to a university.

Many of our students have better thinking skills than the majority of university graduates, even after just three months of study with us. Contact me today if you require further information.

Are you a Mozarty thinker?
