The End of Our Year

It is almost the end of the academic year here at the International Training Centre for the Harmonious Interplay of Beauty, Understanding and Magnificence.  We like to co-ordinate our efforts with...

...those of The Official Australian Taxation Officials, who also have their New Year's Eve party on 30 June.

Unfortunately, 70% of students have failed our course over the preceding year.  This is a similar statistic to previous years.  Perhaps they found their academic assignments almost as difficult as filling in a tax return.

Most of the financial advisory workers struggled, as usual.  They could not find Australia on the map in the geography class.  For some reason, they frequently chose to point to smaller islands, Tasmania not being one of them.  Nor was Kangaroo Island.  Mostly, they chose the Cayman Islands or the Channel Islands.

Some students were so confused by the task that they were adamant than Liechtenstein was the Australian Capital Territory.  Have you ever confused Canberra and Vaduz?

I do hope that my delightful friends in the Australian Tax Office will be in touch with them soon.  My own work in helping the world economy is continuing apace.  Tax havens are rather distasteful, in my view, though some are rather nice for a holiday in the appropriate season.  However, I am fortunate because my personal credit rating is currently higher than the credit rating of most countries in the world, including several European ones.

Here is a little video about the European economic situation.

My dear friend Mr Mozart often had financial difficulties.  He was part of the aspirational middle classes, so I believe. His wife was reputed to think they were nouveau riche.  How sad.  What would they make of the current German use of Mozart's compositions in the decomposition of night soil?

Well, I have had a very busy year so I will now retire to my boudoir for a while.  If you wish to enrol for future courses, please write soon.
