Reasonably Selective

This blog pamphlet is where most of the literate world can find out about...

...my work as the Chief Executive Officer of the International Training Centre for the Harmonious Interplay of Beauty, Understanding and Magnificence.  You may be wondering about the training provided by the Centre, especially if you have not yet visited me on facebook or twitter:

What does training mean to you?  How does it differ from study, education, research, and other concepts related to learning?

Who is eligible to be a trainee?  What are the benefits of being a trainee?

If you have asked yourself any of these questions, and you find beauty, understanding and magnificence to be quite interesting topics, then here is another link you may find useful as a starting point:

If you are seeking the harmonious interplay of beauty, understanding and magnificence in any area of your private or communal life, whether in a personal, professional or commercial context, then how are you defining the goals you hope some sort of training will help you to achieve?

Unlike some people, including at least one senior Australian politician, I am reasonably selective about the people who may be perceived as having a connection with me, whether online or in life.  Do you do the same?

For example, if you follow me on twitter, I may not necessarily follow you back but if I believe you are making an interesting contribution to the world, then you may find yourself, and/or your workplace, on one or more of my twitter lists.

The best trainers, like the best leaders, are usually people who love to learn about the best possibilities that life can offer, and share that learning in a socially aware and unselfish manner.  How do you define "the best" in terms of your life?

Being competent and caring are the prerequisites for good trainers:

With so many complexities and choices in the knowledge, skills and competencies we may choose to pursue, being reasonably selective is very useful.  I like to learn about the best possibilities that life can offer me, in both the material and ethereal realms.  Do you believe this to be reasonable?
